Canon lights up Vivid Sydney

Canon Australia returns this month as an official supporter of Vivid Sydney for the third year running, using photo printing to capture visitor experiences of the light and music show.

The imaging company has been hosting tours beginning at the Foundation Hall at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, leading visitors across the harbour to photograph the light show with professional Canon cameras.

Photography gurus help attendees to capture the impressive Vivid infused Sydney landmarks on rented Canon EOS 80D DSLR cameras.

Following the tour, Canon attendants then offer visitors free A3-sized print outs of images taken on the camera at the company’s temporary printing hub in the Museum.

Jason McLean, director of Canon consumer imaging, says, “We’re excited to return as a Vivid Sydney supporter for the third year.”

“This year we will continue to build on what we have done in the last two years, with some old favourites and amazing new experiences.”

Canon’s Vivid headquarters are open every night 6pm until 11pm for the remainder of Vivid, finishing on June 18.
