Richard Carr, a factory trained Man Roland engineer, says Carr Graphic is concentrating on its core installation business offering either a complete turn key installation for second hand machinery, or the installation of new equipment. It also carries out re-installations in factory relocation’s.
Carr believes that with the advent of internet machinery sales where many companies are now sourcing their presses for themselves, the emphasis in any successful engineering business like his, will be on the services they offer.
In the last four years of operating in New Zealand, Carr Graphic has been at the forefront of sheet-fed installations around the country, installing both second-hand equipment and brand new presses which come with the latest technology.
Richard Carr says Carr Graphics has developed the resources to inspect machinery sourced overseas, including completing a print test; advise on shipping, insurance and customs requirements, and to dismantle and ship presses back to New Zealand, providing transport and re-installation on site.
“We really offer a full service to our customers from anywhere overseas to anywhere within New Zealand,” he says.
