CIP4 taking applications for awards programme

Applications are open until June 26 with awards to be presented to the winners during Print 2009 in Chicago. Including two new categories, which have been added to the programme, awards include:

  • Best cost/benefit realisation and improvement in efficiency as a result of process automation implementation
  • Biggest improvement in quality production & customer responsiveness as a result of process automation
  • Most innovative use of process automation technology in an implementation
  • (New) Small Business Process Automation Implementation of the Year
  • (New) Best Digital Printing Process Automation Implementation of the Year*
  • Best Process Automation Implementation — Europe
  • Best Process Automation Implementation — North America
  • Best Process Automation Implementation — Asia Pacific
  • Best Process Automation Implementation — Emerging Markets

In addition, a new application form and new procedures for the award programme have been published to the CIP4 website. The Most Innovative, Small Business and Digital Printing awards are given out at the discretion of the Review Panel.

Any printer, prepress service or publisher may apply for the CIPPI awards, which are determined by the review panel of judges without affiliation to any vendor, printer, prepress service or publisher. Each application is eligible for one regional award, as well as an award in one or more of the main categories.
