CJ King making east coast expansion push

The Biggerra Waters-based facility will incorporate both offset and digital equipment with the initial installation of a four and eight colour offset press as well as an HP 5500 digital press and various finishing machinery. The company’s accounts and estimating departments have been running out of Queensland for the past three years and will continue from the new location.

Commenting on the expansion, Chris Temov, business development manager at CJ King says, “We are pleased and excited to announce that we will be opening our new production facilities in Queensland to help improve our east coast services. We made the decision due to increasing costs of freight and time differences across the country.”

The company also outlines that the move will also come with some significant changes to the way it does business with its Western Australian customers.

Temov says, “We believe this move will help us provide a much better service to the east while our Western Australian facility will be able to concentrate on building our profile and one on one services again. We will be looking forward to reconnecting with WA customers on a more personal level.”

Due to the steady increase of digital work over the past 12 months, CJ King has also decided to take on a new HP 7000 digital press in its Perth facility, which will add extra speed and versatility to its digital lines.  The new press will be arriving before the end of September and ready for the upcoming Christmas rush.
