CMYKit emerges for industry colour needs

Hall has formed the new business with the mandate of offering a service that goes above and beyond what is currently available in the printing industry.

Hall says, “I saw that there is a market requirement to go beyond what is often offered by vendors to achieve not only the best final output colour and quality, but also reduce costs and time to job completion.

“At CMYKit we are specialising in digital colour workflow and specifically end-to-end ICC colour management from the monitor, scanner or digital camera to the final output, be that digital colour printer or press.”

In the short term, Hall says that the company is aiming to help its customers achieve the best possible results in colour output management. For the long term, Hall is seeking to assist in the continuing evolution of the digital printing market through evolving education and partnership with his clients.

“With our experience, CMYKit understands that making a decision to move into a managed colour workflow is just the start. To ensure real world results are achieved, we are offering clients a tailored range of services including implementation, training and advice on colour management workflow, ICC profiling and digital proofing for all stages of the pre-and post-production cycle,” says Hall.

“I believe that the venture is going well to date. We have been working with several clients on a number of projects over the past three months. Positive feedback from clients indicates that we have exceeded their quality expectations and delivered them a return on investment result that has left all parties smiling.”
