CorelDraw update offers new features for creativity and productivity

CorelDraw Graphics Suite has received various updates to empower designers to achieve excellent results with new productivity-powered features and enhancements boosting creativity and simplifying the graphic design workflow.

The package now offers a new Focus Mode, bringing a single object or a group of objects into focus and editing artwork components in isolation without risking losing a selection with a stray click. The new breadcrumb floating toolbar further simplifies object navigation, reducing the need for multiple open dockers and inspectors as well as freeing up more space for designing.

The File Explorer in Assets is a new interactive folder explorer that allows designers to browse through folders with improved discoverability and easier access to sorting controls with additional enhancements accelerating workflows.

The Print Merge tool has been enhanced to tackle variable data print jobs with greater versatility thanks to an advanced Print Merge workflow, including support for QR codes, images, and .xlsx data in an optimized user interface. It eliminates repetitive printing steps from the same design and data source using new data persistence in .CDR files.

CoredDraw has also enhanced the export workflow with an expanded range of file formats from the Export docker/inspector, including CDR, WEBP, CGM, PSD, and BMP. A redesigned workflow simplifies exporting the current page, all pages, or selected objects.

The PDF import functionality offers new optimized paragraph handling, accurate recognition of formatting details, and smoother transitions for multi-column layouts. Users can enjoy a streamlined editing workflow that works more efficiently with imported PDF content.

CorelDraw has also responded to customer-requested refinements to many frequently used features and performance and stability enhancements across the suite.

CorelDRAW senior product manager Klaus Vossen said, “Thanks to the latest updates, designers can enjoy creating more in less time. We want to accelerate designers’ success by enabling them to unleash their creative potential and bring their artistic visions to life, whether at the office, at home, or on the go.”
