Currie Group has hosted a series of open house events at its Sydney Demonstration Centre following its recent partnership with Canon Production Printing Australia.

The Sign & Display… By Appointment series of open house events has provided existing and potential buyers with the opportunity to view the Currie Group’s latest expanded range of large-format equipment and also book one-on-one sessions and demonstrations.

According to Currie Group business development manager – sign & display, Ashley Playford-Browne, the Sydney Demonstration Centre located at Macquarie Park now features an HP Indigo, an EFI Pro 30h hybrid printer as well as the latest Canon Colorado M-series printer. 

“It is about inviting the Sydney market to come and experience the technology and play around with it to see if these products represent the most appropriate fit for their needs and their business,” Playford-Browne told Sprinter.

“This is an exciting time for Currie Group in the Sydney market. We have had a dozen demonstrations already in the last week and we have another full week of demos planned as well. We plan to continue to do this for the coming weeks and months ahead.

“It has been interesting to see that we have had a mixture of both existing customers – leveraging off the base of Indigo users – but also several new customers to Currie Group looking to branch out into different printing market categories.

“Printers are definitely looking to diversify and also graphics businesses that are installers or exhibition specialists that are looking to bring the technology in house and as a result a lot more diversification happening up and down the value chain to reduce turnaround times and reduce errors to assist with supply chain delivery.”
