Print finishing equipment manufacturer, A B Graphic, has launched both a non-stop unwinder (NSU) and non-stop rewinder (NSR) solution, which will be made available to the A/NZ region through its distributor Currie Group.

Based on existing designs by strategic partner, Kocher & Beck, the winder solutions mark A B Graphic’s first entry into the splicing arena.

Manufactured at A B Graphic’s Spanish facility, both systems are expected to be of interest to customers with medium to long runs, as well as those looking to increase productivity, improve product quality and control or reduce material waste.

Both winder solutions have a range of applications and can be integrated with any existing set-up, including presses, finishing equipment and converters, thereby providing customers with increased flexibility.

A B Graphic’s standard NSU system aims to ensure the non-stop feed of web-type materials, while the NSR system aims to provide continuous rewinding of a self-adhesive matrix produced with a label cutting and printing process.

“Our winder systems complement our portfolio of finishing solutions, providing customers with complete flexibility, especially as they are so adaptable to your current set up,” A B Graphic global sales director Matt Burton said.

“As an added plus, we fully expect that both systems will help provide productivity improvements, helping our customers generate ROI quickly, which will be more than beneficial to their efficiency as a business.”

A B Graphic also recently expanded its range of modules for its Digicon Series 3 with the launch of its latest, newly branded digital technology, DigiJet (JetFX).

The DigiJet digital embellishment module is available in A/NZ through Currie Group as well.
