The latest edition of the automation technology features PDF file optimisation for both print and digital magazine applications.

The cross-media content technology enables PDF conversion to high-quality, small footprint files for use on technology such as the iPad, according to Dalim Software.

Sanoma Media Belgium quality assurance officer Bart Van Looy said: “Comparing several workflow solutions clearly demonstrated to us that only Dalim Software’s Twist is able to produce reliable artwork for our iPad magazines.”

Previously, publishers have been concerned over the quality and size of files received from agencies, complaining that disturbances such as white lines and other artefacts displayed over the content.

Dalim Software CEO Dr Carol Werlé said: “Twist 6.4 is another step in our ongoing development efforts to help our customers meet any new challenge in cross-media production.”
