Dalton maintaining strong supply despite mill closure

Dalton outlines the new Impress will continue to offer high standards of press performance and large stock holdings ensuring availability for customers. The gloss and satin finishes will also now be FSC certified.

Impress Matt will continue to offer the benefits customers require of the product. It will now be known as Impress DM Matt, reflecting the specific purposes it is used for successfully in the marketplace, according to Dalton.

The ENVI products continuing to be manufactured locally include ENVI Recycled 50/50, ENVI Recycled Super Smooth, ENVI Recycled Linen and ENVI Laser – all available from Dalton Paper and all certified Greenhouse Friendly by the Department of Climate Change.

Because the Australian Government’s Department of Climate Change’s Greenhouse Friendly certification of ENVI Coated is based on the carbon footprint of the Tasmanian mill production life-cycle, ENVI Coated cannot be continued if not made in Tasmania.

ENVI Coated will be available from Dalton until stocks deplete which is expected to be in May 2010.
