In 2011 nearly 500 women walked through the venue doors to join in on a series of networking and social events which recognise women in the print media industry.
Among her numerous credits Fordham is an author, has worn zebra-print shoes into a courtroom, represented transsexuals, bikers, murderers and rapists, and raised four children on her own. Her book Life, Law and Not Enough Shoes is about her journey from her early life struggling on welfare to becoming a barrister and Associate Professor of Forensic Science. The publication of Life, Law and Not Enough Shoes marks the culmination of 20 years of crazy experiences in the practice of criminal law.
The Women in Print organisers say Fordham’s mix of inspiration and light heartedness will capture everyone’s attention as she shares with her life experiences, one of which was breaking into an industry that is typically male dominated.
Bookings for Women in Print 2012 will open in the New Year. These popular networking events are held at venues where guests will enjoy a sit down dinner, and provide a great opportunity to network with peers and colleagues while enjoying great food and drink.
