Daycon turns 25

Queensland label maker Daycon Distributors is celebrating its 25th year of operations and a quarter-century love affair with labels. From its factory on the Gold Coast the company says it has helped thousands of businesses both small and large to design, print and deliver custom-made labels that make their product or service stand out. The company supplies all types of self adhesive labels of various shapes, sizes and colour, including die cut labels, ink or foil printed labels, thermal and barcode labels. It also supplies freight labels for freight management systems.

An end-to-end approach assists clients through the process as, it says, “There is a minefield of information to learn about labels and choosing the right type for your business or product. We are here to help every step of the way.” Daycon also supplies self-adhesive roll stock to the printing industry, cut to specific width requirements. The company says this has been a big part of its business, in slitting larger rolls to more manageable widths and lengths for smaller printers. In 2005 the company become the sole Australian distributor for Daco Solutions label die cutting and slitting machinery. Daycon says it is proud to be a longstanding Australian label maker, and will continue to focus on delivering cost-effective, quality solutions to its customers for a long time to come.
