De Lorenzo new MD of STI Lilyfield

De Lorenzo has held various management positions within the printing and
POP (point of purchase) industry and possesses broad marketing and retail
understanding from senior roles at Panasonic, Coca-Cola and Nestlé. He has been
the chairman of POPAI Australia & New Zealand for several years, and has
fulfilled a wide range of responsibilities within the global POPAI organisation.

He says, “My background in production, sales and marketing will help to
make STI Lilyfield the Australian market leader in POP; that’s what we want to
concentrate on. Having worked in the POP industry for more than 25 years, I
know the STI Group pretty well; it is globally respected for their creativity
and market insight in driving sales and consumer activation.”

Trickey joined the company from long-time employer Hannanprint 18 months
ago, but at the time many in the industry questioned the fit. During his time
in the hot seat he successfully set up the display print operation

De Lorenzo says, “My reason for joining the company is to become part of
the global STI Group network, partnering with customers and brands all over the
world, while also delivering tailor-made solutions for Australia. Our goal is
to remain at the forefront of the industry and give our clients a competitive
edge by continually investing in innovation, people, processes and equipment.”

The global $400m turnover STI Group acquired Reg Hammond’s Lilyfield in
2009, as a result of its growth strategy for the Australian market. In 2010 the
company moved into the former Pettaras Press building in Padstow, NSW to allow
expansion of its POS solutions and digital print services for retailers and
brand owners.
