Denholm launches free W2P for printers

CMYKhub will be launching the new self-build webstore at PacPrint 2013 where it will present the software to visitors with live demonstrations at its booth.

Denholm says, “This is a portal where printers can connect and update and change product prices and images with ease. It includes a payment gateway. It provides instant quotes.”

It will initially be limited to CMYKhub products but CMYKhub are looking to partner with other trade-only suppliers to extend the product offering for its reseller network.

He says, “The new software is supported by CMYKhub’s national supply network. We are continuing to build a national network and add equipment such as the recent Indigo 5600 and eight colour HUV Komori to support our customer base of small to medium size printers to become more competitive and increase the product range they have to offer in the market.”

Denholm says, “A common and high cost goal of most of these businesses is to develop a web store and online print management. Off-the-shelf solutions can be hard to integrate and expensive for small businesses, and many of our clients have spent $40,000-50,000 to get a half-finished solution that is expensive to maintain. This is free to printers.”

Denholm says he expects to have more than 10,000 price points within six months, he says, “The ability for our software to automatically update both wholesale and retail pricing is vital.”

Denholm says CMYKhub’s view of software development is similar to expensive capital equipment, it costs a lot, it makes sense to put it in a central location and share it.

Once printers send jobs to CMYKhub through the website the system automatically allocates production location and schedule.
