Russell Cavenagh, sales director DES, told Australian Printer, “The west is the best and our customers asked why we have not got a branch in WA, so now we are happy to say we have one. I believe it will be a successful operation and our customers will be happy to see a branch close to home.”
Ian Clare, managing director, DES says, “You need to grow with your customers and many of our national customers have operations in Perth. Len Page has 18 years’ experience in the offset print industry and six years with Anitech in the graphic and sign industry is the perfect fit for DES and our customer base.”
Page says, “I’m excited to join a company who is interested in supporting the WA print industry, both offset and digital, by expanding across Australia and providing a quality service, products and support. My role will be made much easier, and I am really looking forward to establishing the DES name in Perth and being known for having the best support staff in Western Australia.”
The company’s product portfolio includes UV wide and super wide printers from EFI Vutek; narrow web UV presses from EFI Jetrion; as well as solvent and aqueous printers from Canon, Epson, Ricoh and Roland; plus consumable products. DES is also a national distributor of colour management tools.
