DIC forms Graphics division

DIC has appointed Jason Kent to lead this business
stream. Kent
has spent 17 years in the graphic arts industry, and returns to DIC having
originally worked with the company in the old Coates Australia days.

Kent
has spent many years carving out a reputation within the industry, and has both
a sound technical applications and business development background.

He says, "The new Graphics business division has been
created to provide clear focus for the company's growing range of pressroom
products.

The Graphics portfolio was previously managed jointly by the
Sheeted and Web Divisions. The portfolio
constitutes a broad offering of blankets, fountain solutions, wash ups,
silicone, spray powders and so on.

Welcoming Kent
to DIC, Ian Johns, Offset Director of DIC, says: "We are pleased to have Jason heading up the
Graphics Division. He brings
considerable experience of this market to DIC.
We look forward to an exciting future as we strive to match our graphics
portfolio with our inks portfolio – to offer the best fit for performance, cost
and quality to the ANZ market place."

The company says the new Graphics Division puts DIC in an
even stronger position to continue to service the growing customer base in ANZ,
and will ensure DIC's customers receive the highest level of support for their
business.
