Doggett introduces new packaging board

According to Doggett, Buffalo Board delivers excellent print results, has a natural and raw look and can be used for health, beauty, fashion, food and beverage applications. Seesaw Design in Melbourne focussed on the food packaging aspect to create the promotion.

Anita Ryley, creative director at Seesaw Design says, “The Buffalo promotion was a great brief offering huge scope to produce a finished product that is designer orientated while showcasing the stock. We wanted the promotion to be interactive, engaging and original.”

Also commenting, John Alipan, business development manager – packaging at K.W.Doggett Fine Paper says, “We are fortunate to be the exclusive distributors of Buffalo Board in Australia as no other paper merchant sells a similar range.

It’s a great product on various levels – appearance, environment and food safety. The range has a clean, distinctive appearance that will be good for clients that want packaging with a raw look.”

Doggett outlines that Buffalo Board also stacks up well on the environmental front. It’s made from natural kraft fibres that are fully recyclable and obtained from responsibly managed forests. It’s also FDA approved making it suitable for direct food contact and it has a verifiably low bacteria content compared to many other paperboard products.

Buffalo Board is a low density, high yield product which has a two-ply design giving it outstanding strength and durability, according to Doggett. It is available in 283gsm/508ums, 332gsm/610ums and 386gsm/711ums. This uncoated folding carton board is moisture resistant, highly versatile and cost effective. Buffalo Board is manufactured by KapStone Charlestone Kraft (USA).
