Clowes currently works for the consumables vendor as sales manager for the Victorian and Tasmanian market, and will relocate to the company’s Brisbane office to take up the manager position.
McCredie (pictured, left) will step down at the end of October.
“I’m turning 65, so I feel it’s time for a change of scenery,” he told ProPrint. “The stock market has improved a bit too, so that makes it a good time to retire.”
McCredie has worked at DS Chemport for 13 years and in the printing industry for over 47 years. He started work as an apprentice at Gadsden, now known as Visypack, and has worked at companies including Sicpa and Printing Technologies.
DS Chemport associate director Ken Rendell said McCredie “had made a great contribution to the sales growth in the Queensland market and grew the business from zero sales to become the leading press chemistry supplier to this market”.
