Dscoop appoints first partner council chair to global board

Dscoop, the community of HP industrial print customers and partners, has announced a new addition to its global board.

Angie Mohni, vice president of marketing at Nobelus, will serve as the first-ever partner council chair. According to Dscoop, this new position recognises the pivotal role partners play in fostering innovation, education, and growth opportunities for the print industry.

“This is an exciting step for Dscoop and our community,” said Peter van Teeseling, Dscoop executive director.

“Partners are critical to the success of our ecosystem, and Angie brings a wealth of experience and insight to this role. Her leadership will help us elevate the collaboration between partners and printers, driving more opportunities for everyone in the community.”

Mohni’s career spans more than 25 years of marketing leadership, including her current role at Nobelus, where she oversees marketing strategy, product development and customer engagement.

“I am thrilled to take on this role and help represent the partners, who are such an integral part of the Dscoop ecosystem,” Mohni said.

“Together, we can drive innovation, support our customers, and contribute to the impressive momentum of Dscoop.”

In her position as partner council chair, Mohni will provide a voice for the partner community within Dscoop’s Global Board, bridging the gap between partners and printers and ensuring that collaborative opportunities remain a core focus of the organisation.

“Angie’s leadership represents a new era for Dscoop,” said David Bennett, chair of the Dscoop global board.

“Incorporating the Partner Council into our governance strengthens our community by reinforcing the importance of shared growth between partners and printers.”

The Dscoop global board is responsible for guiding the strategic vision of the community, fostering collaboration, and overseeing flagship initiatives such as the Dscoop Edge conferences.

Last month, Dscoop announced three keynotes for Edge Long Beach as the flagship annual event heads to the California coast in May 2025. Skateboard legend Tony Hawk, award-winning entrepreneur Daymond John, and HP executive Antonio Lucio will take the stage at different times during the event.

Earlier this year, more than 1200 industry professionals from 37 countries, including Australia, gathered in Indianapolis for Dscoop Edge Indy recording the highest number of attendees post-pandemic.

At Dscoop Edge Indy, HP unveiled its worldwide pre-drupa portfolio, which included six on-site HP Indigo Digital Presses for commercial, labels and flexible packaging.
