Dscoop Asia Pacific returns for second year

The event returns with a more “Western focused” approach, drawing inspiration from the established Dscoop conferences held in the US.

David Minnett, managing director of Sydney print house Group Momentum and local committee chairman of Dscoop, said the event would suit existing and prospective Indigo users.

“The event is very different to Ipex or Drupa, which are so big that they offer very little intimacy,” he said.

“What Dscoop offers is a number of informative and interesting conference sessions based on building your business and marketing products around the Indigo.”

Minnett added that the Solutions Showcase section of the event would give visitors the chance to interact with a number of vendors who create products specifically for the HP Indigo.

Speakers at the conference include Coca-Cola Africa chief executive James Lafferty and a spokesperson from US printer Whitehouse Custom Colors, which operates 15 Indigo presses.

The event will coincide with the HP Indigo Awards Gala and will be held on 22-24 August at the Resorts World Sentosa.
