Durst Group picks up seven Pinnacle Product Awards ahead of Printing United

Durst Group and Vanguard Digital Printing Systems have collectively won seven Printing United Alliance 2022 Pinnacle Product Awards across multiple categories.

The announcement of the awards comes in the lead up to Printing United, which is set to take place in Las Vegas from October 19 to 21 and will be attended by Durst Oceania managing director Matt Ashman.

“We are very proud that we have managed to achieve these great accolades which further prove the quality and reliability offered by our innovative and superior quality products,” Ashman told Sprinter.

Durst’s P5 TEX iSUB was among the products to pick up a Pinnacle Product Award. It won the Roll-to-Roll Direct Disperse Ink on Textile category with the judges recognising its ability to offer an integrated inline fixation for a one-step direct to fabric printing process.

“The Durst iSUB contactless fixing technology ensures excellent colour consistency as well as extreme sharpness of detail in images and text, also blurring or bleeding of colour is eliminated,” the Pinnacle Product Award report says.

While in the Single Pass Printers category, Durst’s Delta SPC 130 was recognised for its latest generation single-pass printing system for the corrugated industry. This press was recognised for combining a well-engineered mechanical design with easily accessible sub-assemblies and selected components to guarantee durable quality, high performance, versatility, low maintenance requirement and 24/7 print output reliability.

The Vanguard Digital Printing Systems range also did well, picking up five awards in total.

The Vanguard VKH900-HS won the RTR/Hybrid/Flatbed New Technology category, while the Vanguard VKR3200 roll-to-roll UV won the Roll-to-Roll UV (over 80 in) category.

The Vanguard VR5D-E won the UV/Latex Flatbed (under $70k) category, while the Vanguard VR6D-HS on the UV/Latex Flatbed ($100-$200k) category.

Lastly, the Vanguard VR6D-HS White took out the UV/Latex Flatbed + White ($100-$200k) category.

Durst’s Printing United stand will be offering demonstrations of the newly launched P5 500, P5 350 HS and the P5 TEX iSUB, alongside the Vanguard Digital Printing Systems product range.
