East coast Snap stores toasted for sales successes

Various winners were selected from the Snap’s 149 centres across Australia, with the three gongs going to high achievers in sales.

Snap’s West Melbourne Spencer Street store picked up the National Top Sales Performance Award for the third year on the trot, while Snap Silverwater took home the National Sales Growth Award and Snap Southport bagged the National Sales Achievement Award.

Group chief executive Grant Vernon congratulated the franchise owners for their outstanding contributions.

“Snap, the brand, is not just about sales,” he said.

“Snap is respected and trusted and that comes from providing service over and beyond what is expected, by making a contribution to society.”

Vernon said the Paddy Thomson Award, named after Snap’s first chief executive, was awarded to Snap Clarence Street’s owner Nisan Krimhand for making “an outstanding contribution to their business, their community and Snap as a whole”.

Other winners included David Urquhart, who scored the Best New Franchise Owner Award while Bruce and Glen Greenland were inducted into the Snap Hall of Fame for their contributions to the franchise.
