Eckart also showed its credentials in gravure, flexo and screen printing with the Ultrastar family of inks, which the company says make it possible to create mirror-like metallic effects for printing labels and packaging. Eckart says that until the advent of Ultrastar inks comparable results could only be achieved using metallised substrates or hot foil stamping.
