Epson PacPrint stand its biggest yet

At PacPrint this year, Epson will be debuting its largest at an Australian tradeshow stand highlighting its full range of printing solutions across signage, graphics, textile, fabric and business.

Themed – see new possibilities – the stand focuses squarely on the new business opportunities now made possible by Epson’s range of printing solutions.

For its labels division, Epson will be displaying its SurePress L-6034VW single-pass industrial digital label press, powered by Epson’s PrecisionCore linehead technology. This press is the first to use Epson’s low migration LED UV curing ink.

The SurePress L-6034VW is ideal for short- to mid-run jobs across all industries including health, beauty, food and beverage. Epson says the L-6034VW is designed for label producers investing in a digital label press for the first time or looking to expand production facilities with a reliable, easy-to-use press.

Also in the labels arena are the ColorWorks C3500 and ColorWorks C7500 desktop label solutions which Epson says enable users to increase productivity and eliminate the costs and waste associated with pre-printed labels. Ideal for high mix label requirements, these commercial inkjet label solutions feature fast-drying, durable colour inks suitable for a range of media types and sizes.

The Epson signage solutions on show this year will be spearheaded by the company’s flagship 64”, roll-to-roll signage printer, the SureColor SC-S80600, which recently joined the SureColor Prographics range.

The SC-S80600 has been designed for high colour reproduction on a wide range of substrates including vinyl, canvas, film and paper. It is part of a range that includes the high-speed SC-S60600, also on display at PacPrint 2017.

Also being showcased is the SureColor P5070, the 17" (432mm) large format printer that is designed for premium photo, fine art, proofing and packaging design. It supports a wide range of standard and specialist media in roll and sheet formats and features a PrecisionCore thin film (TFP) head with Variable Sized Droplet Technology.

Epson will also be displaying its SureColor P800 delivering photographic and fine art images in sizes up to A2 and larger using large cost-effective ink cartridges. There’s also the SureLab D700 compact commercial photo and photo merchandise printer designed for use in retail and by businesses, in photo mini-labs and pro labs, at events, tourist destinations and entertainment venues, by professional photographers and designers.

In the posters and graphics area, Epson has the SureColor P20070, a 64" (1,626mm) large format production printer that is designed for medium-high volume graphic, fine art and poster printing. It supports a wide range of roll and sheet based media and features a PrecisionCore MicroTFP print head with Variable Sized Droplet Technology.

Epson is also demonstrating its SureColor T7200D, which features Epson’s latest PrecisionCore print head and aqueous UltraChrome ink chemistry and which Epson says prints an B0 image in as little as 70 seconds with output that dries almost instantly to be water and rub resistant.

The SureColor F2000 Direct to Garment (DTG) printing platform will be on display used for work involving cotton based shirts, caps, bags, and promotional items. Prints can be made to pre-cut fabric or directly onto a finished garment with a heat press then used to 'fix' the dye. It enables production of customised and value-added goods with high impact and good wash/wear durability.

Lastly, the WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20590. Epson says this 100ppm WorkForce Enterprise WF-C20590 is designed to meet the needs of departmental office printing in corporates, SMBs and SMEs, especially those that have peaks of high-volume productivity.
