Epson to launch new world first dye sublimation product at Visual Impact

Epson has confirmed it will launch a world first dye sublimation product not shown at drupa as well as several Australian firsts at Visual Impact in Brisbane next month.

Epson has failed to confirm any further information regarding the world first release other than it is in the dye sublimation category, however the other products to be displayed at Visual Impact have been revealed on a stand that will be themed ‘Beauty in Every Dimension’.

For the first time in Australia, Epson will show the new SureColor F1060 compact desktop Direct to Garment (DTG) and Direct to Film (DTF) printer purpose-built for in store and in-house fabric customisation.

Also on display for the first time will be the new SureColor V1060 compact desktop UV printer purpose built for customising consumer goods, merchandise and making small signs.

Other products on display will include the Epson SureColor P20560 64-inch aqueous printer that combines an enhanced gamut with a new bulk ink system to enable cost-effective production of fine art and large format interior point of sale; the SureColor F160 compact dye sublimation printer designed to enable production of fabric goods, customised accessories and merchandise; the SureColor S80660L 64-inch eco-solvent printer that continues to lead the market when it comes to image brightness, print quality, colour gamut and colour accuracy and the Epson SD-10 spectrophotometer with new Auto Table which determines the exact colour of a test item and compares it with another or with a known standard such as Pantone.

In a statement, Epson said this investment in the Visual Impact exhibition not only represents the company taking its technology offering up a notch, but also delivers creative and business opportunities.

“With a wide range of key products and solutions on display, some of them for the first time in Australia, the company’s show theme is ‘Beauty in Every Dimension’, represented on a stand that ties high brightness and vivid colours with the vibrancy of sea-life inspired by Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef,” Epson said.
