Demonstrations of Suite 10 included the new Automation Engine 10 and new version 10 releases of all editor applications: ArtPro 10, PackEdge 10, DeskPack 10, ArtiosCAD 10 and Studio 10.

According to Esko, the workstation software is more integrated than before with Automation Engine 10 which the company says adds new dimensions and capabilities to the automation of repetitive tasks, and taking human interaction out of the prepress production process, thus saving considerable time and money, according to Esko.

The company also higlighted its Kongsberg product line for packaging, sign and display and digital printing markets, showing visitors how to move into 24/7-operation for cutting and finishing packaging and displays. The newly automated Kongsberg i-XE10 was also on display as a  finishing system for commercial print, digital print, smaller signs and displays, and other digital finishing work.

EskoArtwork’s Digital Flexo, comprised of Cyrel Digital Imagers (CDIs) and related integrated software products, was also shown. Within the past year, EskoArtwork introduced its 4000 dpi HD Flexo technology. On display was a CDI Advance Cantilever 1450 that provides in the round flexo sleeves for the flexible packaging market and new at Ipex is the PreMount workflow for handling of digital polymer carrier sheets.
