Excel
is well known for its commitment to automated digital print, but less well
known for its software development business; it is this which will be the focus
of its new Thai operation.
It has bought Devsenses, a Bangkok-based developer of high-end
program development skills, web design, applications, internal systems and
mobile technologies. Devenses has customers spanning greater Asia and Europe.
Rated in the Top Five mobile software development companies in
Bangkok the latest addition to the Excel Group
will see this ranking rise to Top three when married with Excel’s existing
software development business.
Ken
Williams, CEO of Excel Australasia says, “This exciting acquisition further
increases our capabilities in mobile technologies, substantially increasing and
allowing for greater R&D facilities”.
With
high-end clients in the casino and gaming industries, real estate, retail and
consumer sectors Devsenses innovation has seen its dramatic rise to prominence
in the Asian software developer market.
Ken Williams is clear the new acquisition is an expansion not a
replacement for his existing team, he says, “Our Australian team will continue
to grow and will provide greater customer experiences.”
He went on to outline the vision;
highlighting the company’s holistic approach to its operation, “Companies must
continue to evolve with a clear focus, providing customers with the latest
tools for marketing and operating their businesses. There is no longer just an
Australian or Asian market. A world market operates today”.
