Fairview invests in new Melbourne warehouse

Fairview, an ACM cladding and sign panel manufacturer, has expanded its presence by investing in a new warehouse in Victoria.

The company made the investment in opening a warehouse in Melbourne earlier this year, purchasing a line haul truck to operate between its NSW warehouse and the Victorian warehouse, along with its own local delivery trucks dedicated to the Victorian market.

“With disruptions to the transport industry, we have struggled with third party freight providers, thus our investment to move all freight to within the company allows us to have better oversight of where deliveries are, provide faster distribution and more accurate delivery times,” the company said.

Fairview’s new warehouse’s stockholding capacity is 50,000sqm of product, which combined with 450,000sqm capacity at Fairview’s HQ, allows for the company to continue to offer one of the largest stockholdings of compliant cladding solutions in Australia.

“May alone saw approximately 100 tonnes of material delivered to the Victorian warehouse, ready to be taken direct to site. The availability of product significantly reduces lead times, and our Victorian customers can be confident our product will be delivered when needed,” the company said.

With offices across the Eastern seaboard of Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Toowoomba, Hobart and Lithgow, Fairview added that it is passionate about providing exceptional customer service through having a strong presence in each state and providing access to second-to-none, technical support.
