Markus Haefeli, Ferag Australia managing director, says, “We are very pleased to welcome Peter to Ferag Australia and are confident that his knowledge and expertise will deliver real benefits to our customers in this important area. Our appointment of a dedicated service manager reinforces our commitment to providing a high level of service to our customers and further enhances our ability to develop innovative service solutions.”
According to Haefeli, the new role has been created in response to the strong growth experienced by Ferag Australia over the past two years.
“We are now entering a period of strong consolidation during which we will be looking to bed down our processes and structure so that we can continue to deliver fantastic service to our customers. Peter’s arrival is the first step in this process,” Haefeli says.
Cheney’s role will focus on on-going service and maintenance activities as well as developing partnerships with Ferag’s customers to deliver optimum productivity and useability from their systems.
“Ferag has an excellent reputation throughout the industry not only for the quality of its products but also its commitment to proactive service support. I’m looking forward to meeting our customers to find out what we can do to further improve our service capabilities and then put in place concrete action plans to meet their expectations,” says Cheney.
