FESPA Gallery: Epson’s exhibition stand in pictures

Epson was at FESPA Munich in Germany last week, showcasing a range of its versatile presses and the applications that can be produced using them.

Here are several of its products that were on show at the event:

Epson’s SureColor F10000H is a 76-inch, industrial-level, 6-colour dye sublimation printer that can be configured with genuine fluorescent or light inks, to expand product offering.
The press is built for consistency, reliability, and high-quality throughput. The flexibility of output allows for a diverse range of applications (fashion, sportswear, home textiles and soft signage).
The printer features CMYK ink configuration, plus the addition of one of two ink sets: fluorescent yellow and fluorescent pink, or light cyan and light magenta.
The variety of products that Epson had on display at FESPA Munich demonstrates the many flexible applications of Epson’s extensive digital printer range using the very latest dye sublimation, DTG, signage (embracing UV, eco-solvent and resin) and direct-to-fabric printing technologies.
Epson said FESPA Munich was all about demonstrating how its digital printing technology can produce beautiful, bespoke products that enhance our lives. This picture shows some of the applications that were on show.
The SureColor Resin 5000L, which was on display at FESPA Munich, is designed to produce signage, décor and promotional material. It uses aqueous (water-based) ink that is similar to Latex but formulated for enhanced scratch resistance and a lower curing temperature.
Enhanced print durability is matched with enhanced mechanical reliability and a reduced running cost. Lower curing temperatures enable reduced power consumption and wider media compatibility.
When applied with Epson print head, image processing and media handling, it enables output with superior consistency and quality.
Applications include durable indoor/outdoor signs, banners, wall coverings, decals/stickers, film, and even custom fabric.
The SureColor V7000, which was on display at FESPA Munich, is designed to produce durable images on a wide range of substrates, with superior colour and print quality.
The printer features a large 1.25m x 2.50m bed with multi-zone vacuum and uses 10 UV inks. It will print on many types of media including paper and film, board and core flute, vinyl and canvas, aluminium, timber and acrylic.
It suits applications including signage, POS / POP, packaging, décor, custom cabinetry and graphic art.
Epson showcased the SureColor F2200 direct-to-garment printer, a significant upgrade to its SureColor F2100 large format printer, at FESPA Munich last week. Tailored for medium volume printing, the DTG printer, which is referred to in Australia as the SureColor F2260, helps users create stunning personalised items.
