Final cut

Finishing in the LFP sector is changing. Increasing printing speeds and ever-larger formats of digital printers require new manufacturing and finishing processes.

Alongside these changes is the Aristomat series of high quality large format cutters that are now being offered by Neopost – one of the country’s leading wide format players. Celmac have also been distributing the product for four years.

The Aristomat TL, GL and LFC – Large Format Cutter – are specially designed for the cutting of large format roll and sheet based materials

With LFC cutters available in sizes of widths 2575mm, 3615mm and 5345mm, and lengths of 3440mm, 5420mm and 7400mm, even the largest applications can be covered.

Neopost says that with the easy-to-use CutterControlPanel software, the Aristomat cutters can be controlled from both a PC and mobile controlPad, for functions such as navigation and setting the start point, allowing for effective and efficient operation.

Morgan Quinn at Neopost says, "The Aristomat TL high speed cutter is a fantastic solution. When combined with the powerful MultiHead V A7z cutting head that can feature up to 7 tools, users can process and produce an endless range of products.

“The TL1625C features 54 individually controllable vacuum zones to hold even the smallest of remnants safely on the work surface."

Neopost says the MultiHead V A7z sets new standards in cutting capabilities. It comes with up to seven tools including electric oscillating knife and tangential cutting and creasing capabilities. The optional cutting heads include BevelCut for precise angled cutting of foam and honeycomb based boards, DrivenWheel with motorized rotary tool for processing textiles, leathers and fabrics, HF Router for processing rigid plastics such as acrylic, aluminum and wood, UCD (UltrasonicCuttingDevice) for cutting and sealing of reflective sheeting and films.

To automate production, the machines can be complemented with a revolving conveyor system and powered unwinding device for continuous material transportation of roll based materials.

The machines also feature the AutomaticEye measuring system for fast recognition of printed reference marks and can be equipped with optional mobile barcode reader for automatic allocation of plot files based on the printed barcode.

Neopost will be displaying the TL1625C at the upcoming PacPrint show in Melbourne, Visit stand F40 for exclusive preview and demonstrations.
