Finsbury Green goes digital with NexPress

Well known for its commitment to using clean efficient processes. Finsbury Green claims the NexPress is in line with its aims to deliver an efficient, best practice service that promotes sustainability right through its green supply chain.

Mark Orel, executive director at Finsbury Green says, “From my perspective one of the key factors in our decision to purchase was that the NexPress is able to be fully upgradable within the shell/body of the press in the future.

“The engineering philosophy is one of smart sustainability and should be taken up by more machinery manufacturers in general.”

Meanwhile, further NexPress machines have also been installed by Cojo, Sydney, a mailing and fulfilment house, and Ability Press in Melbourne.

Commenting on his company’s digital print Michael Wu, managing director of Abilty Press says the decision to enter the digital print arena was in part prompted by increased demand from Ability clients for a digital solution and outcome.

He says, “In essence the NexPress delivers our key principles of quality and service whilst offering additional capabilities ensuring we cater to our client’s business objectives and exceed their expectations.”

According to Kodak, one of the key aspects of NexPress is that printers are able to upgrade their presses as they grow their businesses.

The press includes options to select desired paper capacity, increase processing capability, and add a fifth imaging unit for delivery of spot color, watermarking, MICR secure printing, and protective coating with the Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions.
