Participants in the Summer University 2005 will have a week-long opportunity to learn about practical management instruments that they can apply directly within their own companies. The event focuses in particular on the requirements of small and midsize businesses. In addition to market and competitor analyses, the training will tackle general questions of company management, strategy development and new concepts for services, products and sales. More importantly, however, experts in financial management, controlling, corporate development and HR will be on hand to share their knowledge.
Bernd Schopp, head of the Print Media Academy says, .”The Summer University offers participants a week of intensive on-the-job training. Led by experienced industry experts from renowned educational institutions in Stuttgart and Wuppertal closely linked to the print and media industry and specialists from Heidelberg, the event offers an insight into the latest management and technology trends,” . There is also plenty of time for workshop participants to discuss alternative solutions with specialists from all over the world and draw up customised project plans. “Through presentations and case studies, the participants work in small groups to come up with new ideas and exchange their thoughts,” says Schopp.
Due to the international nature of the event, the Summer University is held in English. The venue is Heidelberg. Seminar fees are Euro2,500 not including VAT (euro version of gst). Travel and accommodation costs are also not covered.
