Friday deadline for National Awards

Printers only have until this Friday Jan 30 to get their entries in for this year’s National Print Awards.

Work can be entered directly into this year’s Awards as some of the state-based Pica awards did not run this year.

To avoid any complications or risks to larger and fragile entries from handling at mail centres the new system of direct entry to Printing Industries offices has been implemented, in other words printers can drop their jobs off themselves.

An expert panel of judges headed by industry figure and colour specialist Luke Wooldridge will be judging the entries in February.

This year, the award ceremony is held in Sydney on May 15, the final day of PrintEx. The 2015 event will see the NPA comprised of 17 separate categories and three major sponsor awards from Heidelberg, Currie Group and Fuji Xerox.

To register visit: www.nationalprintawards.com.au. The entries must be produced between September 1, 2013, and December 30, 2014, and must be printed and finished in Australia.
