Fuji Xerox aiming to open the eyes of printers

Henryk Kraszewski, from Fuji Xerox says, “We were highlighting applications, workflow, business developments and technology.” Workflow was shown through the Fujifilm XMF, with the two companies sharing a stand for the first time.

Applications were emphasised in the areas of books, web to print, personalised communications, one to one communications and emerging applications. Pride of place on the stand went to the iGen4, the first time the high volume full colour printer has been shown in Australia.

It comes with an inline spectrophotometer for colour assurance. Also shown for thr first time at a local exhibition was the Fuji Xerox 700, described by Krazeinsky as ‘the fastest selling digital press of all time’.

According to Kraszewski the 700 is proving a major hit because of its colour fidelity, ease of use, varied inline finishing capability, excellent registration, all combined with an attractive price point.
