Fuji Xerox Australia launches green programme for dealers

Participants in the Fuji Xerox Dealer Sustainability Program are asked to record initiatives against objectives over the year, including electricity, fuel and water consumption, carbon emissions, paper purchased against revenue generated, the number and weight of devices recycled, land-filled or re-sold, and the amount of waste generated, including its recyclable percentage.

Amanda Keogh, sustainability manager for Fuji Xerox Australia says, “Our vision is to provide our dealer network, many of whom are SMEs without designated sustainability staff, or the resources to design environment programs, with a framework and support to address the increasingly important environmental expectations of their customers.”

She continues, “Rather than see our indirect sales network reinvent the wheel, Fuji Xerox Australia is offering its knowledge and experience so they can more easily adopt sustainable and environmental values.”

The program is open to all Fuji Xerox Australia dealers. Each year dealers recommit to the program and the standards specified therein. Certificates of participation are issued at the close of the year when dealers have submitted their reports and demonstrated their commitment to continuous improvement in environmental performance. Fuji Xerox Australia will reward the best performing dealer each year.

The programme recognises action by dealers in areas including:

  • Responsibility for end of life equipment and parts:
  • Waste Management:
  • Energy Management:
  • Paper Management:
