Fuji Xerox powers Worldwide with XMPie

Franchise group Worldwide Printing Solutions has installed the Fuji Xerox  web-to-print portal XMPie online print management system for its stores which operate in every state bar Tasmania.

The web-based offering manages print purchasing online and digital marketing campaigns, which the franchise has now integrated into its systems.

Group managing director for Worldwide Rob Dallimore says the introduction of Fuji Xerox’s XMPie came after lengthy deliberation over the most suitable online print management system.

“Nearly 20 years ago we led the franchise market with the industry’s first online ordering system which we called OPM (online print management). Three years ago we embarked on a journey to become the most innovative again," says Dallimore.

“After extensive research we chose XMPie solutions. It was clearly the most capable software available and could be fully integrated into our other systems due to its open architecture.”

The new software is set to be combined with Worldwide’s existing MIS from Quote and Print which Fuji Xerox says will save time and eliminates ‘double order entry’ requirements.

Fuji Xerox is the largest equipment supplier to the franchise, and Dallimore also says support and backing from a high-profile supplier helps to consolidate all products and services under the one umbrella.

“This would enable us to create an offering in the market place due to the ability to not only just manage print ordering for our clients, but also offer them an entire suite of products and services all through the one portal,” says Dallimore.

“Our partners in XMPie and Fuji Xerox Australia, which have provided us with the tools and support programs to turn this idea into a reality have been excellent to work with, considering the many national training workshops and system customisations, their support and expertise has been and will be significant in our ongoing success.”

National sales manager for Fuji Xerox Australia Adam Fittler says Worldwide Printing Solutions worked closely with the company for three years before launching the software partnership.

“The new online system for Worldwide Printing Solutions allows for a wider range of business to be done online, making it easier for customers to fulfil their marketing needs, not just print alone,” says Fittler.
