Henryk Kraszewski, Fuji Xerox Australia Production Colour marketing manager, says, “Not only reaching, but surpassing, the 150 figure is a magnificent achievement for Fuji Xerox’s Production Colour team. While Fuji Xerox has increased sales, our customers are also reaping the benefits with their overall digital production colour print volumes increasing over the past 12 months. The total print volume for Fuji Xerox’s Production Colour solutions has grown by an astonishing 92 per cent over the past year to over 110 million annually.”
Brett Maishman, Fuji Xerox Australia Graphic Arts marketing manager says that the accomplishment is “yet another milestone” for the company, testament to not only the huge demand for digital colour in the marketplace but also Fuji Xerox’s ability to meet it.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with the response to our business development activities, like ‘Profiting through Digital’. There’s no doubt that these activities have played a huge role in pushing up the number of digital colour documents printed on Fuji Xerox equipment to well over half a billion in the Australian marketplace this year.”
According to Mike Palmer, Snap Printing Gordon owner, the business was looking for a new upgrade solution for its DocuColor 1250 to keep up with the increasing demand for short-run digital colour work.
“The DocuColor 6060 met all the criteria we were looking for and more. The speed is fantastic, allowing us to turn our customers’ jobs around a lot faster. And the quality of the colour coming off the DocuColor 6060 is simply outstanding,” says Palmer.
“The demand for high-quality digital colour from our customers is rapidly growing day by day. Not only will DocuColor 6060 give us the ability to meet this demand, it also gives us a leading-edge out there in the marketplace.”
Palmer says that the DocuColor 6060 will ultimately enable Snap Gordon to strengthen its variable data offerings to customers, while also giving the business some differentiation.
