Fuji Xerox tool helps Aussie printers improve marketing

FXA has taken the wraps of a new digital print sales and marketing tool aimed at helping commercial printers, mailing houses and in-house print providers to promote their services.

The ProfitAccelerator Print Production Booster Kit comes in four different versions targeted at the light- to medium-volume colour, high-volume colour, monochrome and highlight colour, and in-house print services production sectors.

Simon Lane, national manager for production services business at Fuji Xerox Australia, said: “When we started developing these kits, we understood the market need for a low-cost way to promote current and new services to our customers. However, even we have been surprised by our customers’ positive response to their availability.”

“The kit has print-ready PDF files, which allows you to quickly produce a customised brochure and personalised samples for a range of new applications. All the designs are done, the images are all licensed for broad use, and we’re demonstrating a range of substrates in their finished form, not as flat samples.

“This is 100% Australian developed and caters specifically for the needs of the local market,” Lane added.

FXA has also been named as a finalist in the Victorian Government’s 2010 Sustainability Awards, one of only three companies along with Cadbury and The GPT Group to be shortlisted in the Large Business category.

Fuji Xerox’s efforts in the field include the release of an annual sustainability report and the development of a Dealer Sustainability Program.

Amanda Keogh, manager of environment and sustainability at Fuji Xerox Australia, said: “With the environment at risk due to negligent practices over the past few decades, as a large business, we feel that it is our responsibility to lead the way in environmentally sustainable best practices.

“As a company, we invest significant resources in lessening the impact we have on the communities and environment we operate in, and we are honoured that our efforts have been recognised.”
