FUJIFILM Australia has unveiled a renovation and expansion of its Melbourne premises including a new Graphic Systems showroom and demonstration area.

FUJIFILM Australia divisional manager, Troy Neighbour, explained the changes in an exclusive interview with Sprinter during the event yesterday.

“Our changes here at Campbellfield have added more facilities for staff and brought together the five core FUJIFILM business units – Graphic Systems, Industrial and Recording Media, Electronic Imaging, Photo Imaging and Medical Imaging Solutions.

“For the Graphic Systems team, the office expansion provides a number of advantages. In addition to now being located alongside the other FUJIFILM division employees within a larger and more modern open plan office working environment, we have also been able to create a new Melbourne demonstration showroom featuring FUJIFILM’s wide format products including the Acuity Prime 30 and the soon to be released Acuity Prime Hybrid.”

The Campbellfield site, owned by FUJIFILM Australia, now houses the former DS Chemport chemical manufacturing facility, the new Melbourne showroom as well as the expanded, upgraded and renovated open plan office space.

“FUJIFILM Australia will continue to be an innovative company supporting not only the analogue printing market with locally developed and manufactured products, but also supplying some of the world’s best digital wide format products – which are both showcased within our Campbellfield facility,” Neighbour said.

The Melbourne event included a staff lunch and tours of the buildings with senior management including FUJIFILM Australia CEO Richie Matoba, operations manager Pierre Visser, and graphics systems operations manager Lily Cendo.
