The Grant, instituted by GAMAA in 2012, allows the successful applicant to undertake an internship with companies of their choosing anywhere in the world. Internships can be undertaken in marketing, new media, print, graphic design and other nominated disciplines related to the print media field.
The outcome of the successful Grant will be a research paper documenting the recipients experience and how these learnings can be applied to the Australian market.
Karen Goldsmith, executive director, GAMAA and Adrian Fleming, president of GAMAA announced the winner of the second ever GAMAA grant.
Fleming says, “The grant promotes forward thinking and we are proud to be able to give someone a fantastic opportunity which the grant presents and it was a difficult choice but we are happy and proud to say Arin will be the lucky person to receive this grant.”
Goldsmith says, “This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the industry to expand their knowledge base and contribute to the future of our industry.”
