GAMAA secures leading academic for workshop

Samantha Crock, education manager at GAMAA says, “Dr Grant is a highly sought-after presenter, but he rarely conducts workshops on a one-off basis. GAMAA is incredibly fortunate to have secured his services”.

Grant is the director of the Coaching Psychology Unit at the School of Psychology at Sydney University, a course he created and the first of its kind in Australia.

Commenting on the workshop, Grant says, “Coaching done well is hugely beneficial to a company. We’ve gotten motivation wrong in the past, the carrot and the stick approach does not work. Coaching can enrich an individual’s experience and get them to engage at a whole new level.”

GAMAA outlines that workshop participants will have the opportunity to work on short, focused coaching conversations and take part in a series of practical exercises designed to stimulate and engage and get participants thinking beyond what they currently know.

The workshop is set for August 27 at the Medina Coogee in Sydney.
