GBC unveils new creaser folder for digital

According to GBC the Touchline CF375, manufactured by Multigraf, offers more flexibility and automation than any other product in its class. The creaser/folder handles paper stocks up to 400 gsm, and creases and folds the products in a single pass.

It employs the Multigraf Swing-Bar System for creasing without cracking; according to GBC this new technology allows for the speeding up of the creasing process with an accuracy of 0.1 mm, as the sheets take a continuous path during creasing.

Raj Dang, general manager , document print & finishing solutions at GBC says, “This new generation of folding machine is a response to the changing requirements of the digital and commercial print finishing market. Creasing and folding are combined into one fully automated machine, with an easy to operate touch screen. By simply entering the sheet length and fold type through the touch screen, the machine creates all required settings automatically; no manual adjustments are needed.”

The Touchline CF375 is equipped with a deep-pile feeder using vacuum belt technology, air knife control for sheet separation, and double sheet detection. The Touchline can be used as an integrated creaser/folder performing both functions in one single pass, or as a stand-alone creaser when folding is not needed, or as a perforator when no other operation is required.
