The lucky prospectors included Geon Perth with 12 gold medals, Scott Print with 11 gold, Labelworld (3), Rural Press Mandurah (2), Quality Press (2) and one each to Classic Bookbinders, Labelforce, Percival Print and Packaging, PMP Print, and Supa Stik Labels.
A total of 41 silver medals and 37 bronze made up the remainder of the winners lists. Gold award winners go on to the annual National Print Awards, to be held during PacPrint next May.
Paul Nieuwhof, national manager, Member Services, and state manager Western Australia, Printing Industries says, “The Fujifilm Fuji Xerox Industry Recognition Award was won by a surprised Ian Smith of Geon Perth and the Kodak Best of Category award was won by Scott Print for Kimberley Rock Art Volume 1.”
Nieuwhof says, “Congratulations to all our winners for maintaining an exceptionally high standard and to all our gold winners who will now go on to represent Western Australia at the National Print Awards next May in Melbourne.

The Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards celebrate excellence in the print, packaging, and visual communication industry in Western Australia, and recognise the special efforts of printers by awarding their best work.
