Cyrachrome had a snappy Gimme 5 promotion on its stand, the five celebrating the fact that the company had been in existence for five years and had five different product areas; proofing, wide format printing, flexo plates, consumables and software. The PrintEx stand was a 100 per cent working model, with Cyrachrome determined to show people its equipment in operation. The stand in fact was completely lit with daylight bulbs. The company is perhaps best known for its proofing solutions, and one of the stars of its stand was the new Canon 2200 A3 colour proofer, run with ORIS ColorTuner software, printing a proof every two minutes. Printers were also able to see the RTI soft proofing solution. This uses a data steaming technique to deliver colour proofs over the internet onto monitors. Cyrachrome also had its products demonstrated on the Canon and Epson stands for its proofing solutions, and on the Ferag stand where its ORIS Works CTP digital workflow was driving the Luscher CTP solution.
