FUJIFILM Australia has undertaken a restructure of its graphics division with Glenn Conyers promoted to a new digital sales role.

According to FUJIFILM Australia divisional manager, Troy Neighbour, the restructure was required for a number of reasons.

“We have been structured the same way for quite a while. And as the industry has evolved, we have looked at how we can become more efficient for ourselves as well as be able to support our customers better,” Neighbour said.

“As a result we have split up our sales team – so we will now have an analogue printing division and a digital printing division.

“On our digital side, we have wide format, our JetPress, B2 digital inkjet presses, plus our print-on-demand devices.

“Glenn Conyers has been promoted from national equipment sales specialist to the newly created position of digital print business development manager. Glenn will have a team of digital specialists in Sydney and Melbourne reporting into him and together they will manage the business nationally as well as working in conjunction with the analogue sales team.”

Neighbour has also confirmed that Justin Kirkland has recently joined the FUJIFILM Australia digital team in Sydney from Canon Production Printing.

“Justin will be a valued member of our team bringing a wealth of knowledge with his experience in the sign and display market. He is one of the rare talents in our industry that has experience not only on the supplier side, but also as a printer,” Neighbour said.

“To meet the demand from our growing customer base, we have also promoted an internal employee to join the service and engineering team. This appointment has recognised internal talent from within the FUJIFILM Australia business and will provide our existing and new customers with a higher level of service.”
