GMG sales growth exceeds 50 per cent in 2004

Sales throughout the year grew constantly, and the highest monthly sales in the company’s history were recorded in November 2004.

Last year, GMG succeeded in boosting sales by well over 50 per cent compared to 2003. Along with very good growth in Germany, sales outside Germany rose at a disproportionately higher rate, now accounting for substantially more than half of total worldwide sales.

Many countries, such as the UK, France and Italy, recorded sales growths of between 150 per cent and 350 per cent. The company says excellent results in Spain, Asia and the USA demonstrate that recent GMG investments in these countries have already paid off in the first year.

GMG recently appointed photographic and graphic design supplier, Kayell NSW, as its master distributor in Australia.

Kayell is in the process of appointing distributors for the GMG product line and is participating with GMG at PacPrint 05 in the “colour management precinct”.

At PacPrint, there will be live demonstrations of GMG’s CamFlow, an all-encompassing workflow solution for optimisation and separation of RGB data, imported, for example, from digital cameras.

Software Company, GMG was founded in 1984 and is located in Tuebingen, near Stuttgart. It offers high-end colour management for the entire graphic arts industry and to date, more than 4000 GMG systems have been sold across the industry spectrum from ad agencies, prepress houses and offset printers to international gravure printing plants.
