Graphic Art Mart expands into SA

Leading supplier of sign and display solutions, Graphic Art Mart now has a national footprint by acquiring of South Australian outfit Q1 Media, following its recent expansion in NT and WA. The deal for Q1 Media is expected to be finalised over the next few days, and it will be business as usual for Q1 customers. Q1 Media has been operating in SA since 1987, it has become a well-known supplier to the sign, screen and wide format printing industry throughout the state. Graphic Art Mart marketing manager Jessica Tailby says the company were keen to get into the SA market after recent expansions in WA and the NT.

She says, “Q1 Media were one of our resellers and the opportunity just presented itself, [the acquisition] aligns with some our recent movements, we’ve now had three major expansions with taking over in Perth, Darwin and now Adelaide in South Australia.” Graphic Art Mart says the acquisition has the support of Q1 Media director Samantha Drewe who has decided to stay on with the business while Graphic Art Mart establishes itself in South Australia. Tailby has also confirmed there will be no staff changes and Q1 Media will continue to operate business as usual out of the current facilities in Mitchell Park, SA. This is the only building Graphic Art Mart will acquire. Graphic Art Mart managing director Mousa Elsarky has assured there will be minimal inconvenience to customers while they are integrating Q1 Media with the company over the coming weeks. He says, “We are excited to have the opportunity to service the South Australian market and bring it the best of products and service levels they deserve.” Graphic Art Mart has serviced the Australian sign and display market for more than 40 years and already operates in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
