Grima appointed as Oki sales head

Global wide format manufacturer Oki Data Australia has appointed Tony Grima as sales director for Australia.

Based in Sydney, Grima will be responsible for leading Oki’s sales momentum, including channel partner development, distribution strategy and revenue growth.

Alex Kawamura, ANZ managing director, Oki Data Australia, says, “We are delighted that Tony has joined OKI at this time.  His skill set and experience of working in business development in fast growth companies will be invaluable as we continue to accelerate our revenue expansion.”

Grima joins OKI with more than 15 years of management and sales industry experience. Most recently, Grima was Australia general manager with Fuji Xerox Printers during which time he led the implementation of a new channel partner program, reconfigured the company’s sales pipeline and improved service levels.

Grima says, “It is exciting to join Oki with its passionate community of channel partner and customer advocates, breakthrough technology and revenue momentum. I look forward to the journey ahead and helping Oki achieve strong and mutually rewarding results for and in collaboration with our channel partners.”

Previously, Grima held several management positions over a period of 13 years at Avery Dennison, including general manager for Central Europe and General Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Grima was also managing director and CEO at Oldfields, an ASX-listed marketer, importer and manufacturer.
