The upgrade enables each clamp to be set independently, which is intended to improve the flexibility and productivity of the machine.

Currie Group, which handles the Horizon range in the local market, told ProPrint that the software is currently available to Australian customers.

The Horizon BQ470 can bind books up to 65mm thick at up to 1,350cph.
